CHARITIES
Our planet is home to many. People and animals trying to survive and ideally live in harmony. Unfortunately, many circumstances hinder the peace and abundance we could all share. So many people are in need, while the animals and planet too suffer at the hands of man. We at BEAUTIFULLY KIND, are trying to do our bit to make the world a kinder place, so, we, like you, like to help where we can. People, animals and the planet, all need basic care and support to flourish. While I am grateful for my life and the beautiful country we live in, and the more I learn what is happening in the world around us, the more it saddens me. Not all people and animals are living in harmony.
There are people hurting out there every day and living with lost hope. There are animals being tortured and neglected and used as commodities. While it's hard to prioritize who we help, Beautifully Kind already supports various organizations which are close to our hearts.
We at BEAUTIFULLY KIND, hope to encourage kindness by supporting those organisations which help others as listed below:
The Smith Family is a children's charity helping disadvantaged Australian children to get the most out of their education, so they can create better futures for themselves.
Animal Welfare League NSW cares for abandoned, surrendered and Neglected animals. They provide care to animals prior to adoption. Money is NOT the only way to help they accept various types of help.
Cerebral Palsy Alliance
Cerebral palsy is a physical disability that affects movement and posture.
Cerebral palsy is an umbrella term that refers to a group of disorders affecting a person’s ability to move. It is due to damage to the developing brain either during pregnancy or shortly after birth.
Cerebral palsy affects people in different ways and can affect body movement, muscle control, muscle coordination, muscle tone, reflex, posture and balance. Although cerebral palsy is a permanent life-long condition, some of these signs of cerebral palsy can improve or worsen over time.
People who have cerebral palsy may also have visual, learning, hearing, speech, epilepsy and intellectual impairments. A baby is born every 15 hours with Cerebral Palsy.
The Fred Hollows Foundation has a very clear goal: we’re putting an end to avoidable blindness. When this day comes, people in developing countries will get the same quality eye care the rest of the world takes for granted – and we won’t stop until this is done.
